Jordan Hopp

Jordan Hopp joined the Yale volleyball staff in March 2026. Hopp won a NCAA National Championship in 2024 as a student-athlete and served as a team captain at both Penn State and Iowa State, has been named the assistant volleyball coach at Yale.

In addition to winning a national title and a Big Ten championship in 2024 as a redshirt senior, Hopp averaged 1.00 block per set in the regional final victory over No. 6 Creighton and the national semifinal against No. 3 Nebraska.  In 2025, she led Penn State in blocks per set while hitting .310 with 125 kills and 12 service aces as a grad student.

Prior to Penn State, Hopp played at Iowa State and started all 30 matches, hit .325 with 199 kills and added 104 blocks in 2023 as a redshirt junior.  Hopp at Iowa State also tied for the third-highest solo block match total in program history and earned a spot on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

Hopp also served as a club-level assistant coach at the Happy Valley Academy in State College, Pa. and led positional training emphasizing blocking technique and attacking efficiency.  In addition, Hopp coached summer camps at both Penn State and Iowa State.
