Katie King joined the Yale Athletics development staff in April 2026. She is responsible for annual fundraising, communication, events, and organizational efforts for the athletic associations, supporting a dynamic fundraising operation for Yale’s 35 varsity teams.
Prior to joining the Yale staff, King was a postgraduate intern on the NCAA Men's Basketball Championships staff for the 2025-26 season. She was a graduate assistant in UConn Athletics Administration from 2023 to 2025.
King played field hockey at Southern New Hampshire University before graduating from the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2023. She earned her master's in sport management from UConn in 2025.
King is from Dayton, Ohio, by way of Westminster, Mass. Her father, Jayson, is the head baseball coach at the University of Dayton. Her brother, Justin, is Harvard Baseball Class of 2026.
