Marzio Mastroianni

Marzio Mastroianni became Yale Athletics' Assistant Director, Creative Content and Graphic Design in March of 2026. He is responsible for assisting in the creation and effective execution of the overall multimedia and creative content strategy. He focuses primarily on graphic design and photography, contributing to the department’s visual storytelling and brand identity.

Mastroianni initially joined Yale Athletics in August 2025 as a Marketing Coordinator. As marketing coordinator, Mastroianni was responsible for the planning and execution of promotions geared toward our community partners and fans, assisting with administrative operations and serving as the Marketing site supervisor for select events.

Prior to his role with Yale, Mastroianni served as a Creative Content Intern for UConn Athletics, specifically working with the university's football and men's basketball programs. He also worked as a graphic designer in a freelance capacity. Mastroianni competed in track and field at the varsity level while attending the University of Connecticut.

Mastroianni graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2023 with a B.S. in Sport Management and earned a graduate certificate in digital marketing strategy in 2024. He is now pursuing a MBA at UConn, expecting to graduate in Spring 2026. 

Despite being born in Italy, Mastroianni is a native of and currently resides in Branford, Connecticut.
