Megan Lupini

Megan Lupini joined Yale as an Assistant Athletic Director, Facilities in January of 2021 and was promoted to Associate Athletic Director, Facilities and Operations in January 2025.

Lupini serves as the sports supervisor for the Yale men’s & women’s fencing programs.
 
Lupini came to New Haven from the University of Hartford where she was an Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities, Events & Operations. Among her duties at Harford were serving as the primary scheduler for all athletic facilities, overseeing operations for all home athletic events and managing general facility maintenance of all athletic venues. She also was involved in a number of special events, including serving as the Tournament Director for the 2019 America East Men’s Soccer quarterfinal.
 
Prior to Hartford, Lupini spent seven years as the Coordinator for Facilities and Operations at Binghamton University. Her primary responsibilities were scheduling for athletic facilities, the management and planning of home athletic events, facilities and operations office budget, as well as the oversight of the student athletic staff.
 
While at Binghamton, Lupini gained valuable experience overseeing a number of championships. She worked as the tournament director for the 2015 America East Women’s Tennis Championship and manager of the 2013 Cross Country, Softball and Track & Field Championships. She also played a vital role during the 2015 and 2016 America East Women’s Basketball Championship.
 
Lupini began her professional career at Cornell University as an Athletic Operations Assistant. During her time in Ithaca, Lupini assisted with NCAA tournaments as the director for the Women’s Ice Hockey Championship quarterfinals and the event manager for the first round of the Men’s Lacrosse Championship.
 
In addition to her experiences at Binghamton and Cornell, Lupini was an integral part to the SUNY Cortland athletic operations staff as an undergraduate. In 2009, she was honored as the Event Manager of the Year for her work managing the student assistants, promoting football, ice hockey and volleyball.
 
The New Paltz, N.Y., native attended SUNY Cortland where she received her bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in economics. In the spring of 2016, Lupini received her master’s degree in sport management from her alma mater.
