Miranda Morel joined Yale Athletics in December 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer. In her role, Morel is responsible for the oversight of the women’s ice hockey and lightweight crew programs.
Morel joined the department after spending time at Army-West Point as an athletic trainer for the women’s basketball program. Before West Point, she worked as a graduate athletic training fellow for Merrimack Athletics where she worked with the women’s ice hockey, swimming and diving, women’s lacrosse and spring football programs. While in her undergrad years, Morel interned with the Indianapolis Colts.
She earned her degree in athletic training from Quinnipiac University (Conn.) and her graduate degree in exercise and sport science with a concentration in strength and conditioning from Merrimack College (Mass.).
Morel, a native of Andover, N.J., currently resides in Stamford, Conn.
