Pat O'Neil joined the Yale baseball staff in July 2024 as Director of Baseball Operations.
O’Neill spent two seasons at Eastern Connecticut State University where he served as the recruiting coordinator for the Warriors.
Prior to Eastern, O'Neil was an assistant coach for three seasons under John Delaney at Quinnipiac University and coached during the 2019 season at Wesleyan University. At Quinnipiac, he served a variety of roles in scouting and with team travel, and as an outfield, first base and bullpen coach.
O’Neill was a four-year member of the baseball program at Eastern as a player. In three varsity seasons between 2014 and 2016, O’Neill was 9-9 with a save and 4.19 ERA in 150 innings over 40 appearances as a spot starter.
O’Neill graduated from Eastern with a B.S. Degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Kinesiology and is pursuing his graduate degree in Sport Administration and Education Leadership.
