Yale

Sam Rubin began working for the Yale Athletic Department in the fall of 1995, shortly after graduating from Yale.

His primary coverage areas for Strategic Communications are women's basketball, field hockey and women's lacrosse. He also oversees coverage of baseball, lightweight crew, men's cross country, women's cross country, gymnastics, men's track and field and women's track and field.

A native of New York, Rubin is the author of two books. His first, "Baseball in New Haven", was published in 2003. He also spent 10 seasons working for the New Haven Ravens, a Double-A Minor League Baseball team that played at Yale Field.
