Jeff Dawson Advances to Semifinals at Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Senior captain Jeff Dawson advanced to the semifinals of the Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Championships with a 7-6, 7-6 victory Monday over Penn State's Brendan Lynch.

The No. 5 seeded Dawson is two victories away from winning the tournament after defeating the No. 2 seed Lynch in straight sets.

Dawson will take on the No. 7 seed Bogdan Borta of Columbia in the semifinals of the tournament Tuesday. With a victory, Dawson will advance to take on the winner of the semifinals match between No. 1 seed Chris Clayton and No. 4 seed Jonathan Wong.
