SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Yale improved to 7-3 on the season with a 4-3 victory over UC Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, Calif. Thursday.

The Bulldogs won matches at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to win the doubles point.

Yale won singles matches at No. 1, No. 4, and No. 5 singles to secure the victory. At No. 4 singles, Sophomore Calvin Bennett rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win. Freshman Joel Samaha won at No. 5 singles. Senior captain Jeff Dawson won the clincher at No. 1 singles for the Bulldogs.

Yale will play Loyola Marymount Friday.
