NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Following a thrilling comeback win at the
Harvard Invitational last weekend, the women's golf team looks to
head into their off-season with a win at the Sacred Heart
Invitational this weekend.
That win at Harvard saw freshman See Heo Moon rise to the
occasion as she has all fall, not only registering a hole-in-one,
but setting a course women's record low en route to her third
individual championship of the fall. Another bright spot for the
Bulldogs was freshman Sun Park, who despite not being amongst
Yale's scoring five due to the fact that she is coming off an
injury, shot rounds of 74 and 75, good for the second best weekend
of any Yalie besides Moon.
Seniors Harriet Owers-Bradley and captain Alyssa Roland (156 and
157, respectively), also had low-scoring weekends, while Cassie
Boles and Alex Lipa were also major parts of the comeback, turning
in combined scores of 159 over the two days of play.
The Bulldogs take to the course for the final time this fall in
Sacred Heart's two-day Invitational at the Great River Golf
Course.
