Scored Winning Goal Vs. Sacred Heart

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sarah Jordan, who scored the game-winning goal in Yale's 3-2 victory over Sacred Heart on Tuesday, has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.

With less than 10 minutes left in the second half, Jordan rifled a shot into the top corner to help the Bulldogs escape with a win. She has scored twice in four games to start her Yale career.

Her success shouldn't come as a surprise. She played in the 2016 High School All-American game last year and scored 79 goals at Mahwah High School.

The Bulldogs, who are 4-0 on the season, play at Hofstra tonight at 7 p.m.

In addition, Michelle Alozie, who scored the second goal in Friday's big win over Miami, was named to the Honor Roll.
