Yale Wraps Up Syracuse Road Trip

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Yale women's tennis team fell to a strong Syracuse team (6-1) 6-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Samantha Martinelli was on the wrong end of a tight 3 setter, losing 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 to the Orange's No 1. Miranda Ramirez. Valerie Shklover, who has settled into the No. 2 spot for the Bulldogs, also played a great match, losing the first set in a close tiebreak 7-5. Captain Sunday Swett also engaged in two close sets, but was unable to come away with the victory.
