NEW YORK, N.Y. – The No. 47 Yale women's tennis team saw its six-match winning streak snapped on Sunday, falling to No. 66 Columbia, 4-3, at the Philip & Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center.
With the victory, the Lions improved to 13-3 overall (3-0 Ivy), and the Bulldogs dropped to 15-3 overall (2-1 Ivy).
The Bulldogs started strong, with the pairs of
Orly Ogilvy and
Leena Friedman, and
Angela Huang and
Julia Werdiger, securing the doubles point.
Shyla Aggarwal and
Erin Ha also added singles victories. However, the Lions rallied back, winning four singles matches to earn the win.
