NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's soccer team takes a break from Ivy League play to host Albany on Tuesday. Kickoff at Reese Stadium is slated for 7 p.m. ESPN+ has the video.
Here are notes on the first meeting between the teams.

Brendan Faherty, the first-year Loring Family Head Coach of the Bulldogs, is familiar with the Great Danes from his time at Stony Brook.
* The Bulldogs (7-3) saw their five-game winning streak come to an end with Saturday's 1-0 loss to Harvard.
* Yale is in the middle of a stretch of four straight games in the friendly confines of Reese Stadium. Saturday's loss to the Crimson was the first at home this season for the Bulldogs.

Alyssa Fagel was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll. Fagel made a season-high eight saves vs. Harvard.

* Four of Yale's last five games have been decided by one goal. The Bulldogs are 3-1 in those games.
SCOUTING ALBANY
The Great Danes (5-3-3) are unbeaten in their last eight games, including a scoreless tie with Binghamton last Thursday. Goalkeeper Sophia Chen was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week after posting her fourth shutout of the season vs. Binghamton. Chen leads the America East in save percentage (.853), goals against average (0.58), and shutouts (4). Jada Colbert leads the team with 10 points. Twin sisters Jada and Jasmine Colbert share the team lead with four goals apiece.
