The Yale Bulldogs will compete in their second-to-last regular season match before heading into the Ivy League season, taking the court against St. John's at home at noon on Sunday.
Yale Men's Tennis has just come off a successful spring break trip in California, snatching victories over Portland and Sacramento State and falling to UC Davis by a narrow margin. The Elis have shown especially great improvements in their doubles performance, taking the doubles point in the last 7 straight matches to put themselves off to a 1-0 team lead. Senior captain Nathan Brown and junior Dylan King have played a crucial role in this success, holding their own at the No. 2 position on a consistent basis. In singles, look for junior Ryan Cheng to continue his dominance at the No. 2 position along with sophomore phenom Alan Sou who has been on an absolute tear of late at the No. 6 position. Yale will continue to lean both on the depth of their singles lineup as well as their doubles expertise to place itself in a strong position come Ivy League competition.
