TROY, N.Y. – The Bulldogs won their third straight game tonight after overcoming an early deficit and responding with four straight tallies in a 4-1 win over RPI at Houston Field House. The Yale Women's Hockey Team got scoring from four different skaters, including
Kirsten Nergaard, who was playing in her 100
th career contest, to start the weekend with two conference points.
The Elis (10-8, 7-4 ECAC) trailed for most of the first period until getting a late tally from
Claire Dalton, who notched her seventh of the year.
Tess Dettling gave the Blue the game-winner in the second before
Rebecca Vanstone and Nergaard followed up with third-period scores.
Junior
Gianna Meloni recorded her third straight win by stopping 23 shots as the visitors outshot the home team 35-24.
Next up for the Elis, who are in fifth place, is a 3 p.m. Saturday game at Union.
