NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Coming off a strong performance against St. John's, the Yale women's tennis team will look to move to 2-0 on the season when they host Quinnipiac on Saturday.
Quinnipiac is 2-1 on the young season, though recently suffered their first loss at the hands of another Ivy League team in Harvard. Historically, Yale has dominated this rivalry, having won all nine matches the two teams have played against each other since 2003. The most recent affair was in 2018, which the Bulldogs won 6-1; Sarah Cameron and Samantha Martinelli are the sole members of the current team to play in that one. The Bobcats are coached by Paula Miller, who has been in that role for seven years while leading her squad to the NCAA tournament five times.
Play begins at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday.
