ALBANY, N.Y. – Yale Women's Hockey had 20 from its 2019-20 team selected for Academic All-ECAC Hockey honors, including three seniors who achieved that status all four years.
The conference announced its academic teams today, which consist of student-athletes with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and confirmed that
Tera Hofmann, Kirsten Nergaard and
Sophie Veronneau have been four-time honorees.
The Bulldogs established a school-record 17 overall and 13 conference wins while finishing fifth in the standings, one place shy of home ice for the conference playoffs. In the playoffs, the Elis went on the road to Harvard and lost the first game before upsetting the home team in OT in game two. Yale erased three deficits in game three to send the game to triple OT before falling 4-3.
Here are Yale's academic all-conference student-athletes for 2019-20.
