NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Women's Soccer Team looks for its first Ivy League win this fall as the Big Red of Cornell come to Reese Stadium for a 1 p.m. kick on Saturday in a contest airing live on ESPN+, NESN and on Stretch Internet.

The last time Yale and Cornell met, Aerial Chavarin scored on an assist from
Lydia Shaw in the 67
th minute and the Elis held on for a 1-0 win at Reese to notch the team's 10
th victory of 2019.

Yale is coming off a 2-1 loss at home to Dartmouth last Saturday.
Alanna Butcher scored her second goal of the year to tie the game in the first half, but the Big Green connected late in the second half to take the game.
Marisa Shorrock, making her first collegiate appearance in net, got the Yale start and made three saves. She is the third Eli goalie to get a start in a season marred by injuries.

The Elis (1-11, 0-3 Ivy) have goals from seven different players including a pair from first-years
Ellie Rappole, who leads the team with five points, and Butcher.

BIG RED
Cornell is coming off a 4-0 loss at home to Harvard last Saturday. The Red have wins over Columbia, Colgate and Canisius this fall and are looking for the second league victory on Saturday.

Ava Laden leads the team with five goals and 14 points, while Cornell has had three different players start in net, including Miranda Iannone, who has eight starts with a 1.81 goals against.
