Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y. – Ellery Winkler scored her second goal of the year and Maya Bellomo made five saves, but it wasn't enough to get the Yale Women's Soccer Team a victory at Columbia today. The Lions scored the game's first three goals and then held on for a 3-1 win.
 
The Elis had a 14-13 edge in shots and a 4-1 advantage in corners but could not convert all their chances on a very wet day in the city. Columbia's goalie came up with eight saves and denied the visitors an opportunity to notch their second Ivy win of the season.
 
Yale finishes the 2021 campaign with a pair of home games next week starting with St. Francis of Brooklyn at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
