NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Women's Soccer Team completes the 2021 season this week by hosting a pair of games that air live on ESPN+. St. Francis of Brooklyn comes to Reese Stadium on Wednesday night at 6 before No. 12 Brown, the 2021 Ivy League Champions, is in town for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday.

This is the first meeting of Yale and St. Francis, a member of the Northeast Conference, while the Bulldogs and Bears have met almost every year since their programs started in the mid-1970s.

The last Yale-Brown encounter was the finale of the 2019 season, a 1-1 tie at New Haven.
Ellery Winkler scored in the 60
th minute to even things.

Yale, coming off a 3-1 loss at Columbia in the rain last Saturday, had a goal from Winkler in the second half.

Maya Bellomo registered five saves in net for the Bulldogs. Saturday is senior day and the Bulldogs will celebrate their seven Class of 2022 members:

St. Francis College, coming off a 3-0 loss to Wagner on Halloween, finished its NEC campaign with a 3-4-3 record and are 5-7-6 overall. Hailey Russell and Barbara Zagonyi lead the team with four goals each, while Klil Keshwar has a 1.30 goals against average this fall.

Brown clinched its 14
th league title last Saturday with a 1-0 win at home against Penn. The Bears, 11-3 overall and 6-0 Ivy, are led offensively by Brittany Raphino (8 goals, 22 points). At the other end of the field, Kayla Thompson (0.93 goals against) has all the decisions in net.Â
