The Yale men's swimming and diving team had several strong performances but suffered a close 153-147 loss at Columbia. It was the season opener for the Bulldogs, while the Lions were competing in their third meet.

Noah Millard and
Joseph Page each captured two events for Yale. Millard won both the 500 and 1,000 freestyles, while Page finished first in the 100 and 200 freestyles.

Page also was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay, along with
Philippe Marcoux, Marcus Hodgson and
Felix Van Cauwelaert.

Other winners for the Bulldogs were Marcoux in the 50 freestyle and
Conner Kang in the 200 butterfly.
"It was good to get some racing experience after a long absence from competition," said
Jim Henry, the Robert J.H. Kiphuth Coach of Men's and Women Swimming and Diving. "We stayed together as a team and had some strong performances throughout the meet. The team is excited for Brown on Friday."
