Bulldogs Set for Brandeis Invitational

Five bouts on tap starting at 9 a.m.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's fencing team opened the season with a strong showing at the individual Garret Penn State Open back in early November. On Sunday, the Bulldogs compete in a team competition for the first time, traveling to Massachusetts for the Brandeis Invitational. Yale's first bout is set for 9 a.m., the first of five on the day.
 
The Bulldogs had three of the top-12 saber finishers at Penn State with Charlson Kim placing seventh, Andrew Zhang 11th and Nicolas Del Vecchio 12th.
 
The Brandeis Invitational is Yale's only competition in December. The Bulldogs don't compete again until Jan. 8 at the Penn State Invitational.

10 a.m. – Yale vs. Boston College
11 a.m. – Yale vs. MIT
1 p.m. – Yale vs. St. John's
2 p.m. – Yale vs. Incarnate Word
