NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Mark Bolding, Yale's Susan Cavanagh Head Coach of Women's Hockey, announced his eight newcomers for the 2021-22 season, and it includes four blueliners and four forwards as part of his initial recruiting class.
"We are very happy with the addition of these terrific student-athletes to bolster our lineup this fall. They have all been impact players with their past teams and we expect that to continue when they arrive on campus this fall," said Bolding.
This talented group, which has seven recruits and one transfer, also includes four Canadians, three Americans and one skater from Russia.
"These new blueliners add size, strength and offensive ability and will be a great group to build our defensive structure around for the next four years. The forwards bring with them a high skill set, scoring touch and strong hockey IQ," said Bolding. "They will add necessary depth and talent up front to make us a more complete team. Our newcomers have also been captains and leaders prior to Yale, which will be critical as we hope to continue our progression in a strong conference."
Here is the class of 2025.
