NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale University Athletics has announced protocols for attending varsity sports at the start of the second semester. Games will be held without fans through Sunday, January 16. New spectator guidelines for Yale community members only go into effect on Monday, January 17 through Thursday, February 11.

Men's and women's swimming & diving vs. Cornell on Friday-Saturday, January 14-15, men's basketball vs. Cornell and men's ice hockey vs. Colgate on Saturday, January 15 will be held without fans.

The Bulldogs' first game with Yale community attendance will be women's basketball vs. Brown on Monday, January 17 at 1 p.m.

The following guidelines will be followed for Yale community spectators at indoor venues: John J. Lee Amphitheater (men's & women's basketball, gymnastics), Ingalls Rink (men's & women's ice hockey), Brady Squash Courts (men's & women's squash), Coxe Cage (men's & women's indoor track & field), Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center and Kiphuth Exhibition Pool (men's & women's swimming & diving).

Indoor Sports Guidance (Monday, January 17-Thursday, February 11):
- Fully vaccinated Yale community members (graduate and professional students/faculty/staff) are permitted to attend. All Yale community members must have received their booster shot or show proof that they are not eligible for the booster to date
- Yale College students may attend sporting events starting February 7 once in-person learning resumes
- All attendees must show proof of vaccination (actual card or photo) and a photo ID
- No outside guests/visitors are permitted to attend
- Youth ages 11-and-under are not permitted
- Masks must be worn indoors at all times
- No outside food permitted and no in-venue concessions

Ticketed Sports & Venue Policies (JLA: men's & women's basketball, Ingalls: men's hockey):
All policies and protocols are subject to change through updated campus guidelines. Attendees who cannot follow venue protocols will not be allowed admission to Yale Athletics venues. Yale community members are encouraged to arrive early at all events for proper screening.
