YALE GAME NOTES

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 10 Yale Women's Ice Hockey Team, which has won four of its last five contests, has a big conference weekend at the Whale.  No. 6 Colgate and Cornell come to town for Friday and Saturday games at 6 and 3 p.m. that air live on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet.

LAST MEETINGS
Yale's first conference road trip this season was to Ithaca and Hamilton. The unranked Bulldogs beat Cornell 7-0 before handing No. 4 Colgate a 4-0 setback.

BULLDOGS
Kiersten Goode and Elle Hartje scored twice and Claire Dalton handed out three assists as Yale beat Sacred Heart 6-0 on Tuesday at Ingalls. Dalton's helping hand lifted her to No. 4 on the school's career assist list with 57 as she and her teammates pumped 53 shots on net. Pia Dukaric stopped 17 shots for Yale to earn the shutout, her second of the season. The Elis, No. 7 in the latest Pairwise and tied with Colgate for fourth place (19.5 points) in the ECAC standings, rank fifth in Division I in both scoring (4.0) and defense (1.59) after Tuesday night.

RAIDERS
Colgate (17-4-1, 7-2-1), ranked in the uscho.com poll all season, is coming off wins over Dartmouth and St. Lawrence. Junior forward Daniella Serdachny leads the team with 34 points, including 11 goals, but she has a pair of teammates with 14 goals apiece. There is depth in goaltending as well. BIG RED
Cornell (6-7-1, 4-4-1) enters the weekend in ninth place. The Big Red have won two straight games, including a 6-1 decision at Penn State on Jan. 11. Senior Lindsay Browning has most of the work in net with a 2.19 goals against and a .920 save percentage, while classmate Gillis Frechette has a team-high 16 points to lead the offense.
