NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team made a strong statement in its opening match of the season. The Bulldogs cruised to a 194-106 victory over Brown at Kiphuth Exhibition Pool.
Noah Millard captured three events – 200 freestyle, 200 backstroke and 500 freestyle – to lead the way.
Connor Lee (100 and 200 butterfly) and
Joseph Page (100 backstroke and 100 freestyle) were both double winners.
In addition,
Marcus Hodgson won the 50 freestyle,
Alex Deng captured the 200 breaststroke and
Tommy Park won the 200 individual medley.
In addition, Yale captured the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays.
The Bulldogs host UMass on Saturday. Diving begins at 10 a.m. followed by the swimming events at noon.
