NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team heads to Harvard's Blodgett Pool for the Ivy League Championship this week. The four-day event kicks off on Wednesday at 6 p.m. with the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relays. On the remaining three days, the prelims begin at 11 a.m. followed by the finals at 6 p.m. The championship will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Bulldogs enter the event after posting a perfect 9-0 record during the regular season, including victories over Harvard (211-89) and Princeton (182-118) in their last meet on Jan. 28-29 at Kiphuth Pool. Yale had three double-event winners at HYP – Ava Franks (100, 200 breaststroke), Alex Massey (200 butterfly, 200 backstroke) and Iszac Henig (50, 100 freestyle). In addition, Olivia Paoletti captured the 400 individual medley. Yale also had the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.

It's been a remarkable six-year stretch of success for the Bulldogs under the direction of Jim Henry, the Robert J.H. Kiphuth Head Coach. Yale has posted a 64-2 dual meet record during that stretch and captured the 2017 Ivy League championship.

Princeton is the defending champion, winning the 2020 title.
