YALE GAME NOTES

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Men's Ice Hockey Team, still in contention for conference playoff home ice, completes its regular-season schedule this week with three ECAC Hockey road games. The Bulldogs are at No. 5 Quinnipiac on Tuesday before heading to the North Country to face No. 17 Clarkson on Friday and St. Lawrence on Saturday. All three contests are 7 p.m. puck drops that air live on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet.
SERIES
Quinnipiac has a 24-7-5 advantage in the Yale series since the first meeting in 2006. That includes a win at the Whale back in November…. In a series that dates to 1929-30, the Golden Knights have a 79-39-7 lead vs. Yale; Clarkson won at Ingalls earlier this season… Since the first meeting in 1951-52, SLU holds a 61-38-12 advantage over the Elis, including a win at New Haven a few weeks ago.

LAST MEETINGS
The Bobcats won 3-0 at the Whale in Yale's second game of the regular season... Clarkson overcame an early deficit to win 3-2 at Ingalls on Feb. 5, a night before the Saints grabbed a 2-1 OT win against the Bulldogs.

BULLDOGS
Yale's three seniors:
Kyle Johnson,
Justin Pearson and
Graham Lillibridge celebrated their final home regular season games with a sweep of Union and RPI. The Bulldogs combined for eight goals, including four on the power play and a shorthander. Saturday's senior night included a goal by Johnson and two primary helpers from Pearson in a 5-2 win over RPI.
William Dineen (ECAC Player of the Week) had two goals and three assists in the two games, while
Briggs Gammill had a pair of tallies and two assists.
Nathan Reid, who has six wins in the Yale net this year, combined for 55 saves in the two victories last week. The Bulldogs (7-17-1, 6-12-1), who have skated in six one-goal contests over the last eight games, have 16 points in 12
th place with nine points on the table this week and five teams within seven points of Yale.

BOBCATS
Quinnipiac (26-4-3, 15-3-1) is in first place with a one-point lead over Clarkson heading into the Tuesday game. The Bobcats, who have allowed just 33 goals this winter, lead the nation in scoring defense and their starting goalie is top ranked in goals against and save percentage. QU is coming off a road conference split, including a 5-0 win over Dartmouth and a 1-0 loss at Harvard.
GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Clarkson (18-8-6, 13-3-4) was in second place after last weekend, a point shy of first. The Knights, who have won five of the last six, split last weekend, winning 4-1 at Colgate and losing 6-2 at Cornell. They lead the conference in scoring and power-play efficiency.
SAINTS
SLU (8-16-6, 6-10-4) enters the weekend in ninth place with 22 points after getting three road points last weekend. The Saints beat Cornell 2-1 in overtime and lost 4-2 at Colgate and are now 2-3-1 in their last six.
