NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's hockey program announced the addition of
Kyle Wallack, Anthony Walsh '19, and Vincent Caligiuri to Malcolm G. Chace Head Coach
Jeff Hamilton's staff. Wallack has been named Associate Head Coach, while Walsh and Caligiuri will serve as assistant coaches.
"I'm incredibly excited to welcome Kyle, Anthony, and Vinny to Yale Men's Hockey," said Hamilton. "Each brings valuable experience, strong relationships throughout the game, and a commitment to developing student-athletes. Together, they will have an immediate impact on our program."
Kyle Wallack | Associate Head Coach
Wallack returns to Yale after serving as the head coach at Albertus Magnus College, where he led the Falcons for six seasons. During his tenure, Wallack guided Albertus to multiple winning seasons and postseason appearances while earning Division III Independent Coach of the Year honors in both 2022-23 and 2023-24.
In 2024-25, Wallack led the Falcons to a 12-13-1 overall record in their first season competing in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC), highlighted by a dramatic overtime victory over defending national champion Hobart College. Albertus also continued to excel academically under Wallack's leadership, leading all Division II/III programs with 27 student-athletes named AHCA Krampade All-American Scholars.
Prior to Albertus, Wallack compiled nearly two decades of Division I coaching experience, including assistant coaching stops at the University of Vermont, Yale, Holy Cross, Quinnipiac, and UConn. During his previous stint at Yale, Wallack played a key role in recruiting members of the Bulldogs' 2013 NCAA National Championship team.
Wallack also served as head coach of the Indiana Ice in the United States Hockey League (USHL), leading the franchise to a 35-win season.

Anthony Walsh '19 | Assistant Coach
Walsh joins the Bulldogs after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Colgate. Prior to Colgate, he worked with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP), helping guide the U18 team to a gold medal at the 2023 IIHF U18 World Championships.
Walsh began his coaching career at SUNY Fredonia during the 2021-22 season before returning to the collegiate ranks at Colgate.
A former Bulldog captain, Walsh played four seasons at Yale from 2015-19, appearing in 104 career games. He was awarded the Malcolm G. Chace Award following his senior season, recognizing the player who best exemplifies the traditions of Yale Hockey through sportsmanship, spirit, and ability.
Following his playing career, Walsh served as Yale's Director of Hockey Operations during the 2019-20 season. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Yale in 2019 and later completed a master's degree in sports administration from Northwestern University in 2025.

Vincent Caligiuri | Assistant Coach
Caligiuri joins the Bulldogs after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Williams College, where he helped guide the Ephs to success in NESCAC play and worked closely with All-NESCAC selection Grant Fuchsen.
Prior to Williams, Caligiuri served on the staff at Princeton University, first as Director of Hockey Operations during the 2022-23 season before being elevated to assistant coach in 2023-24. At Princeton, he was heavily involved in player development, video analysis, practice planning, opponent scouting, and recruiting throughout North America.
Caligiuri also brings extensive junior hockey coaching experience, highlighted by a three-year stint as head coach of the New Hampshire Avalanche, where he compiled a 91-20-8 record, earned EHLP Coach of the Year honors, and helped more than 40 players advance to higher levels of competition.
A former captain at SUNY Potsdam and a former professional player in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), Caligiuri has built a strong reputation for player development, recruiting, and program leadership throughout his coaching career.
