CANTON, N.Y. – The Yale Men's Ice Hockey Team, which split its North Country road trip, closed the regular season tonight with a 3-1 loss to St. Lawrence.

First-year goalie Luke Pearson made 30 saves for the Bulldogs, who will be on the road next weekend against Colgate for the first round of the ECAC Hockey Tournament.

Henry Wagner scored the Elis' goal in the first period, his third of the year, which tied the game at 1-1. The St. Louis, Mo., native released a rising wrister from the left dot that sailed inside the far post.

However, Wagner and his teammates, who knocked off No. 17 Clarkson last night, could not erase the next deficit.
