YALE GAME NOTES

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Men's Ice Hockey Team, coming off a Tuesday night game at Princeton, has a conference road set with two other ancient rivals this weekend. The Bulldogs play at Harvard Friday and at Dartmouth on Saturday. Both games air live on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet.

SERIES
Against Dartmouth, the Bulldogs lead the series 115-97-14 that dates to the 1906-07 season. There have been 264 Yale-Harvard meetings in eight different cities. The first took place on Feb. 26, 1900, in New York, with Yale prevailing 5-4. The Crimson lead the all-time series 149-92-23.

LAST MEETINGS
Niklas Allain gave the Blue an early lead on Harvard back on Dec. 4 at New Haven, but the visitors ended up taking a 5-3 game. Ian Carpentier scored the OT winner in a 3-2 decision against Dartmouth on Dec. 3 at Ingalls in the last meeting.

BULLDOGS
Yale (5-15-1, 4-10-1 ECAC) is coming off a 2-1 loss at Princeton on Tuesday night, which was a postponed game from a few weeks ago. Trailing 2-0 in the third period, William Dineen cut the margin in half, but the Elis could not even things despite outshooting the Tigers 25-23. Luke Pearson played well in net stopping 21 of 23 shots at Baker Rink. The Blue, which has skated in four straight one-goal games, hopes to finish the regular season strong and qualify for a home playoff series the first weekend in March.

TIM TAYLOR AWARD
The MVP of the annual Yale-Harvard game at Boston earns the Tim Taylor '63 Award, named after the former Crimson star skater and Yale Head Coach.

CRIMSON
Harvard (12-8-2, 9-5-2 ECAC), which fell to Boston University on Monday night at the Beanpot Tournament at Boston Garden, enters the weekend in third place behind Quinnipiac and Clarkson. The Crimson have gone 3-1-1 over the last five games including a 2-2 tie at Cornell.

BIG GREEN
Dartmouth (3-16-3, 2-11-2 ECAC), which hosts Brown on Friday, has lost three straight, including games at Harvard and UMass-Lowell last weekend. The Big Green has wins over Colgate, St. Lawrence and against New Hampshire at the Ledyard Classic.
