Last Game
Yale (4-0, 1-0 Ivy League) earned a signature win in Ivy League play last Saturday, beating Dartmouth 12-9. The Big Green was co-Ivy League Champions in the most recent Ivy season (2019). Senior attacker Olivia Markert (Centreville, Va.) and junior attacker Olivia Penoyer (Manlius, N.Y.) each had three goals and an assist. That was Yale's first win vs. the Big Green since 2015.

Markert Honored by Ivy League
Senior attacker Olivia Markert (Centreville, Va.) was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Markert started the week with an eight-point (7-1-8) game in Yale's 13-12 win vs. Quinnipiac Tuesday Mar. 1. That included the game-winning goal with 3:38 to play, along with a pair of critical draw controls. She then had three goals and an assist, along with a pair of draw controls, in the 12-9 win at Dartmouth last Saturday.

Road Warriors
Yale plays just six games away from Reese Stadium this season, and three of them are in a row from Mar. 5 through Mar. 20. After winning at Dartmouth last Saturday, the Bulldogs play at No. 1 BC Sunday and then take on No. 15 Notre Dame in a neutral site game in Naples, Fla., on Mar. 20.

Drawing Up Wins
Yale leads the Ivy League in draw controls per game with 16.0, 1.8 more than any other Ivy team. That ranks 17th in the nation. First-year midfielder Sky Carrasquillo (Alpharetta, Ga.) leads the league and is 23rd in the nation with 6.0 draws per game.

40 Something
Yale has two of the three biggest single-game shot totals in the Ivy League this year, and the Bulldogs are the only Ivy team to have cracked the 40 shot barrier twice. Yale's 44 shots vs. Sacred Heart are the most by any Ivy team this year, and the Bulldogs' 41 shots vs. Quinnipiac rank third.

Penoyer Powers Offense
Junior attacker Olivia Penoyer (Manlius, N.Y.), one of just eight players in the league this season with All-Ivy credentials, is tied for the Ivy lead in assists per game (2.0) and is third in the league in points per game (4.0). She has had at least three points in every game, and she has had a pair of hat tricks. Penoyer was an honorable mention All-Ivy League honoree in 2019.

A Fresh Start
Seven starters for Yale had never played a game in college prior to this season. The list includes:
Scouting BC
