NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over Bryant at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs, who improved to 6-4 overall with the victory, dropped only one set on the day.
In doubles, the No. 1 duo of
Cody Lin and
Michael Sun made quick work of Bryant's Will Pellegrini and Marcus Macaulay, winning 6-0. The teams of
Aidan Reilly and
Theo Dean and
Luke Neal and
Shervin Dehmoubed were both 6-3 victors.
The only three-set match in singles involved Dehmoubed in the No. 5 position. He dropped the first set 6-1 but rallied to take the next two in decisive fashion, 6-3 and 6-0.
The Bulldogs are back home on Wednesday when they host Monmouth at 5:30 p.m.
