NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team has enjoyed great success at home this spring sporting a 6-1 record at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. After playing their first three Ivy League matches on the road, the Bulldogs are back home this weekend, hosting Cornell on Friday and Columbia on Sunday. Both matches begin at 1 p.m. and if played indoors will be streamed on
Stretch Internet.
Yale's doubles team of
Luke Neal and
Michael Sun is coming off a big weekend. The two won both their matches a week ago, including knocking off Princeton's Bill Duo and Karl Poling 6-4.
Cody Lin and
Theo Dean were winners last weekend in singles.
Sun remains nationally ranked in singles, coming in at No. 114.
Cornell (14-6 overall) is coming off a 4-0 victory over Binghamton on Wednesday and has split its two Ivy matches, beating Dartmouth 4-1 and falling to Harvard 4-2.
Columbia is 11-6 overall and 1-1 in Ivy play. The Lions lost to Harvard 4-1 and beat Dartmouth 7-0. Alex Kotzen is at No. 16 in the ITA singles rankings.
