Last Game
It was a storybook ending on Senior Day for the No. 25 Yale women's lacrosse team against Columbia Saturday afternoon at Reese Stadium. Every available member of that class, which has proved so crucial in the team's recent run of success, was on the field to celebrate at the end of the game as the Bulldogs
beat the Lions 24-14. With the win, the Bulldogs tied the school record for Ivy League wins in a season with their sixth. Junior attacker
Olivia Penoyer (Manlius, N.Y.) led Yale in points with eight (2-6-8), one shy of her career high.
Offensive Explosion
Saturday's 24 goals in the win vs. Columbia were the most by Yale since a 25-3 win vs. Fairfield Mar. 31, 2004. The Bulldogs have reached the 20 goal mark twice in the last five games, having beaten Army 20-15 on Apr. 5.
Double-Digit Win Total
Yale has reached the 10 win mark for the first time since 2008, when the Bulldogs went 11-5. The school record for wins in a season is 14 by the 1978, 1999 and 2003 teams.

Delaney Vu (Sound Beach, N.Y.) scored her first career goal Saturday in the 24-14 win vs. Columbia, she added to an impressive list. Twelve of the 17 players who have scored goals for Yale this season had never scored a collegiate goal prior to this season. They are:

Markert, Penoyer Among Top Four in Ivy League
Senior attacker
Olivia Markert (Centreville, Va.) is second in the Ivy League in goals per game (3.00) and second in the league in points per game (3.69). She has a career-high 39 goals and, with 46 points, is near her career high in points (47, set in 2019). Junior attacker
Olivia Penoyer (Manlius, N.Y.) is leading the Ivy League in assists per game (2.31). She has a career-high 30 assists this season, seven more than any other Ivy League player.
Ivy League Tournament Picture
The Bulldogs have clinched one of the top two seeds in the Ivy League Tournament (May 6-8 at the site of the highest seed). Their game at No. 12 Princeton Saturday will decide the Ivy League title and the No. 1 seed. The Tigers will have to play Columbia in between now and then (Wednesday).
Scouting Stony Brook
Stony Brook (12-2, 5-0 America East) started the season 2-2, with losses to then-No. 3 Syracuse and then-No. 5 Northwestern, but has not lost since Mar. 10. The Seawolves have scored at least 16 goals in six straight games, starting with a 16-8 win at then-No. 10 Princeton Mar. 29.
