NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's lacrosse team earned IWLCA Academic Squad recognition and had 12 members of the team named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for 2025-26. The IWLCA announced the awards on Wednesday. 

IWLCA Academic Squad recognition is given to all NCAA women's lacrosse teams with a team GPA of 3.2 or greater for the academic year.

The IWLCA Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have achieved at least junior status academically and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater. Yale had six seniors who earned the award for the second year in a row – attacker Megan Kitagawa (Syosset, N.Y.), midfielder Jordan Messina (Sayville, N.Y.), attacker Ashley Newman (Manhasset, N.Y.), defender Emmy Pascal (Lorton, Va.), defender Bella Saviano (Severna Park, Md.) and defender Sarah Waits (McLean, Va.).
