DERBY, Conn. – The 2022 racing season began with a sweep of the Housatonic River last week in the Albert Cup. This Saturday, Yale Heavyweight Crew hosts the Olympic Axe at the Gilder Boathouse starting at 8:15 a.m.

Yale and Dartmouth square off in five 2,000-meter races, highlighted by the 9 a.m. varsity contest. All the action can be seen live on ESPN+, while it is also streamed internationally on Stretch Internet.

The Olympic Axe was dedicated in 2004 and has never left the Gilder Boathouse.
