DURHAM, N.C. – Walker Oberg and
Vignesh Gogineni will both play for flight championships on Sunday at the Duke Bonk Invitational.
Oberg posted a pair of straight set victories, while Gogineni had to work a little harder. After dropping the first set, he rallied to defeat Elon's Vljko Krstic 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 in the first round. He also needed three sets to win in the second round, edging Charlotte's Vasco Prata 6-3, 5-7, 6-0.
Theo Dean and
Luke Neal both won their first-round matches but fell in the second round.
The finals are Sunday at 11 a.m.
