How It Happened

  • RPI netted the equalizer on the powerplay at the 3:52 mark of the second period.
  • At 19:42 of the second, Niklas Allain won the faceoff as Gammill swooped in to make a play to the point. Brandon Tabakin wristed a shot on net and gave Yale the go-ahead goal.
  • Reilly Connors gave Yale a two-goal lead with 9:33 remaining in the third period. Connors picked off a pass from a RPI defender and ripped a shot top left and in.
