How It Happened
- Cole Donhauser got Yale on the board at the 15:12 mark of the first period. Shorthanded, Donhauser snagged the puck on a misplay by an Army defender and made a nifty backhand-to-forehanded shot that went bar down.
- David Chen made it 2-0 on the powerplay as he entered the zone and ripped a shot on net.
- At 16:18 of the second period, it was Donhauser again who jammed in a loose puck to extend the Bulldogs' lead to three goals.
- Army added a goal at 11:40 to cut into Yale's lead.
- Again—it was Donhauser on the puck as he dished a pass to Bayard Hall from behind the net to give Yale a three-goal lead once again.
- Donhauser capped his four-point night and sealed the hat trick on an empty net that gave Yale the four-goal lead.

- Luke Pearson stopped 22 shots in goal for Yale.
- Cole Donhauser recorded his first career hat trick. This was also the first hat trick by a Yale player since Joe Snively scored three goals against Princeton on Feb. 10, 2018.
- Bayard Hall has now scored in back-to-back games.
