NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's soccer team fell to No. 21 Brown, 4-1, at Reese Stadium. The Bulldogs moved to 5-3-3 overall and 0-2-1 in the Ivy League, while the Bears improved to 7-1-2 overall and 3-0-0 in the Ivy.
Â
"I thought we had 45 minutes of very good soccer tonight," said
Sarah Martinez, Loring Family Head Coach. "We felt confident going into halftime and unfortunately got hit with a couple of injuries that I felt shifted the game. Credit to Brown, there is a reason they haven't lost an Ivy League game since 2018 – they are very well coached and have arguably the best attacking player in the country and she sure was special tonight."
