PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale women's soccer team fell to Princeton, 3-1. With the loss, the Bulldogs moved to 5-4-3 overall and 0-3-1 in the Ivy League, while the Tigers moved to 8-2-2 overall and 3-1-0 in the league.
"I'm not one for moral victories, but the soccer we played tonight is really tough to be disappointed in," said
Sarah Martinez, Loring Family Head Coach. "Unfortunately in our sport, some scorelines can be deceptive. Our second-half soccer was as good as we could have asked for with the exception of putting some more in the back of the net. Our results will start coming because our product is certainly getting better each time we step on the field. We have a group that believes in what we are doing and it is showing on the field. I'm bummed for them to not be getting more out of these games as I think we deserve it."
