CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Yale men's cross country team captain Sean Kay represented the Bulldogs in fine fashion at the NCAA National Championships Saturday. Battling the nation's best on a challenging Panorama Farms course meant Kay had his work cut out for him, but he rose to the occasion to finish 177th in his first outing at the national meet. The result marks the end of a phenomenal cross country campaign in which Kay led the Bulldogs to a fourth-place finish at Heps and a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional meet, where he booked his ticket to Virginia thanks to a scintillating 13th place individually.

Kay will now take a moment to rest and reset before turning his attention to the indoor track season, where he will look to continue building upon the momentum he has built up over the past three months.
