NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's lacrosse team had five first years named to ILWomen's 2023 "Power 100 Freshmen Rankings" – more than any other Ivy League school. The media outlet announced the rankings earlier this month. The top 50 were ranked, and included defender
Sydney Grogan (Bedford, N.H.) at No. 36 and midfielder
Katie Clare (Bayport, N.Y.) at No. 42. The remaining 50 were unranked and included midfielder
Karina Herrera (Catonsville, Md.), midfielder
Ashley Kiernan (Chatham, N.J.) and attacker
