PRINCETON , N.J. – Yale's team of seniors
Lindsay Wagner and
Ophelia Pilkinton and first year swimmers
Caroline McCurdy and
Jessey Li led the Bulldogs to a second-place finish (130.22) in the finals of the 200 freestyle relay to cap the second day of competition at the Ivy League's women's swimming and diving championships at the DeNunzio Pool.
Yale is in third place (419 points) behind Princeton (573) and Harvard (422) in the team standings following the first seven events.
The Bulldogs took seventh in the 200IM with junior
Alex Massey's time of 2:00.34.
First year
Lilly Derivaux was eighth in the 500 freestyle with her time of 4:50.37.
Paige Lai (248.55) and
Genevieve Thibodeau (233.5) finished seventh and eighth in the 1 meter diving finals.
The meet continues on Friday with heats at 11 a.m. and the finals beginning at 6 p.m
