PRINCETON, N.J. – First year swimmer
Jessey Li broke the minute mark (59.96) Friday to win the 100 breaststroke at the Ivy League women's swimming and diving championships at DiNunzio Pool.
Sophomore
Ava Franks finished second in the race (1:00.73).
It was a good night for the Bulldogs who registered top-eight finishes in each of the six swimming events.
Junior
Alex Massey was third (53.11) in the 100 butterfly, senior
Raime Jones was third (1:47.62) in the 200 freestyle while senior
Olivia Paoletti was seventh (4:18.79) in the 400 IM.
Senior
Lindsey Wagner (53.63) and sophomore
Quinn Murphy (53.98) finished third and fifth, respectively, in the 100 backstroke.
Yale's top seeded 400 medley relay team of Wagner, Li, Massey and
Ophelia Pilkinton finished third (3:35.91).
Princeton (1025 points) leads the competition after 13 events followed by Harvard (794) and Yale (768.5).
The competition concludes on Saturday.
