NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Sophomore attacker
Jenna Collignon (Hinsdale, Ill.), who led the Yale women's lacrosse team with four goals in Saturday's season-opening 17-6 win vs. Vermont, has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week. The league announced the award on Monday.

Collignon scored three of her goals Saturday during a 9-0 run for the Bulldogs that turned a 3-2 deficit into an 11-3 lead by the 7:52 mark of the third. She added five draw controls, the second-most on the team, and also had three ground balls.

Collignon was one of Yale's top offensive threats last season, scoring 26 goals in 11 games. She is a graduate of Hinsdale Central, where she was a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American.

Yale (1-0, 0-0 Ivy League) plays at Quinnipiac at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
