NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team found success in its first of two matches against Big Ten opponents this weekend. The Bulldogs edged Rutgers 4-3 at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Yale won all three doubles matches. The teams of
Vivian Cheng and
Chelsea Kung,
Rhea Shrivastava and
Jamie Kim and
Ann Wright Guerry and
Sophia Zaslow were all 6-2 winners.
Kung at No. 1, Guerry at No. 3 and Zaslow at No. 5 also posted straight-set singles victories.
The Bulldogs are right back home on Sunday, hosting Indiana at 11 a.m.
