PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale softball team fell in a pair of games to Princeton, 12-0 and 5-4, at Struing Field. The Bulldogs record moved to 5-11 overall and 0-2 in the Ivy League, while the Tigers improved to 6-12 overall and 2-0 in the Ivy.

Game 1: Princeton 12, Yale 0 (5 innings)
- Princeton opened the scoring with four runs in the first.
- The Tigers recorded two more runs in the second inning off a fly out and a hit.
- In the third inning, Princeton added another run to extend its lead to seven.
- The fourth inning saw the Tigers tack on five more runs.
- The game ended in the fifth inning due to the run rule.

Game 2: Princeton 5, Yale 4
- Yale found the bats in game two of the day.
- After three scoreless innings, Sophie Woodridge got the Bulldogs on the board with a solo home run in the fourth.
- Lauren Perren knocked in a run in the fifth inning, extending Yale's lead to two.
- Willa Ferrer followed up Perren's at bat with a single through the left side to score a run. Princeton responded with a RBI single in the bottom half of the inning.
- The Tigers tied the game at four aside in the sixth inning with a two-run home run.
- Libby Peoples gave the Bulldogs the go-ahead run with a two-out double to center field.
- Princeton picked up a two-run walk off double in the bottom half of the inning to sweep the doubleheader.
